Studying

Your programme will start with a one week induction module that will cover the basics of essay writing, referencing, presentations and also provide you with an opportunity to become familiar with our online learning environment. Even the best writing services need previous training if they want to succeed in the field.

Blackboard (the name of our virtual learning environment) is the place where you will find all of your materials for the programme as well as communication tools for holding regular discussions with your tutor and fellow students.

Discussion rooms are a way for you to feel part of the online community as well as finding study partners to help you through problems and to share experiences.

We suggest that you study about 15 hours per week but this may vary depending upon your own workload as well as the programme itself. You will generally complete a module every 3 months with breaks in between to give you some free time.

Feel free to have a look at a sample of our study materials to give you an idea of the types of resources that we provide on the course.
